The winter paper designs from the archive form a sleeve around a glass containing a battery-powered LED tealight.
Materials
A clean, dry glass, printed motif, scissors, paper glue and an LED tealight. The template was designed for glasses up to about 8.5 cm in diameter; check the fit before gluing.
Assembly
- Print and cut out the chosen sleeve.
- Wrap it loosely around the glass, check the fit and glue the paper ends together.
- Let the glue dry, then place the LED tealight in the glass. Secure the battery compartment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not use a real candle or add oil. Paper is flammable. Archive images and the motif sheet come from the earlier version; follow only these LED instructions for the present project.
